There are 3 types of piers supporting the Nairobi expressway The 2 columns pier where traffic will flow on both sides of the express highway ,the 3 columns pier that will have traffic flow below the expressway highway.
The government, through public-private partnership(PPP) is constructing the Nairobi Express highway which is 27Km. Upon completion, the highway will be serving over 25,000 vehicles per day.
