The multi-billion project is a Public-Private partnership that seeks to upgrade 233km Rironi - Nakuru - Mau summit road. Among the components of the project involves building a viaduct in Nakuru city.
Rironi - James Gichuru Expansion Road
The road section includes the expansion of the Rironi - James Gichuru regions which seeks to enhance mobility as one heads from Nairobi to the rift valley region.
The 27km road was recently opened to the public on trial and starts from Mlolongo to Westlands in Nairobi. It stands out as one of the most ambitious projects in the city and is a component of the Trans African Highway.

Mariakani - Mombasa Expansion project

According to AFDB site, the 41.7 km project involves dualling of Mombasa Mariakani road and is currently under implementation. Among the features include the iconic Changamwe interchange.
