
Police at a past crime scene
A Tanzanian man was forced to write a short note saying "make wa mtu ni simu" before he was brutally murdered.
Tanzanian media on Thursday reported about the murder of a man said to be in his 40s after he was allegedly found with another man's wife.
According to the police report, two men have been arrested as suspects in connection with the murder.
Mwanza Regional Police Commander, Jumanne Muliro said two people are currently in police custody on suspicion of killing a man in Kanyerere, Mkuyuni ward in the region.

The police commander told the media that they found the note when they went to collect the body.
"Kando ya mwili wa marehemu kulikutwa ujumbe uliosomeka kuwa 'mke wa mtu ni sumu' watuhumiwa wanahojiwa na upelelezi ukikamilika watafikishwa mahakamani," said Muliro, which loosely translates to
(Beside the body of the deceased, we found a message that read 'another man's wife is poison'. The suspects are being questioned and when the investigation is completed they will be arraigned in court)
