Eight suspects including two minors who stoned Deputy President William Ruto's convoy in Busia county were arraigned in court today.

The eight were charged with obstructing police officers, incitement to violence and malicious damage to property.
They all denied the charges and were taken to Korinda GK Prison where they will be remanded for 11 days until next week Friday when the matter will be mentioned. This is after the court denied them bond.
The eight Ouma, Michael Omondi, George Odongo, David Ouma, Fredrick Okoth, Reuben Barasa and two minors aged 16 and 14 years were appearing before Busia Chief Magistrate Lucy Ambasi.
They were arrested after Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i urged the Administration Officers to work with the police officers to book the culprits who disrupted Deputy President William Ruto tour in Busia.
The Nation Police Service confirmed that the 8 were part of the youths who pelted stones to motorists and caused a lot of damages.
