The Covid-19 pandemic has affected many people and as a country at large. The economy has been brought back due to the pandemic. Most of all, people have lost their precious lives.
The government introduced the curfew hours from 10pm to 4am countrywide excepLaikipia where it starts from 6pm to 6am. However, tye curfew hours imposed to curb Covid-19 is causing more deaths of Kenyans.
Accidents are being experienced in the country as drivers over speed to catch up with curfew. This is causing deaths in the country.
President Uhuru Kenyatta advocated for the forging of closer working partnerships between Africa and Caribbean. This was done to overcome challenges such as Covid-19 and others.
As it stands now, the positivity rate for covid-19 is at 10.4 percent after 704 new cases were confirmed, after a sample size of 6,776 was tested.
Opinion: The curfew hours imposed by the government should be revised for the sake of Kenyans, especially those who travel for long distances. This is because they are losing lives due to overspending f the drivers, to avoid being caught past curfew hours.
