A dramatic but Ugly Scene was witnessed at a village in Kirinyaga County, after the villagers found a body of a man without head floating in the river
The body was found by women who had gone to the river to fetch water in the morning, prompting to ran for safety before raising an alarm.
After spotting the body,the women fled in panic while screaming alerting other members who rushed to scene to witness the early morning drama.
"We were filled with fear after spotting a body of a man whose head was chopped off in the river while we went to fetch water"Narrated one of the eye witness.
The area Chief contacted the police,who took the body and booked it at Kerugoya Referral Hospital mortuary.
Speaking to the media,the area police boss noted that the body is for a stranger as the residents could not extablish who he was.
He promised that the police is going to investigate the matter to extablish the relatives of the deceased and the cause of death.
