A family is seeking justice for their daughter after she was allegedly raped and dumped in a hotel room. In a screenshot going round on the social media, Velvine Nungari Kinyanjui is said to have spent the night of 23rd March, 2022. The lady is said to have communicated with one of her friends telling her to go for her.
Unluckily the friend could not go for her because it was already late. The friend however requested Velvine to communicate to her when she arrived home. "Ukinikosa upige hiyo namba kama mara 150", replied Velvine. On that Tuesday the victim did not go back home. On Wednesday 24th March, the Velvine called the friend and told her where she was in a hotel indentified as Sinnot Hotel in Kiamumbi.
When they arrived at the hotel they consulted the hotel management and they were told that they found her naked on the bed. They immediate took an Uber and took her to Kenyatta's University Referral Hospital for treatment. The doctors reports indicated that she had a fractured spine together with some other injuries. Velvine died on 9th in KU hospital.
