Limuru: Tragedy As A Vehicle Loaded With Bhang Is Involved in A Road Accident

 Limuru police recovered a bhang estimated at millions of shillings after the vehicle carrying it was involved in a traffic accident.

 The incident occurred along the Mutarakwa-Thogoto road on Tuesday, January 11, 2022.

 Residents of Ndeiya rushed to the crash site after a violent accident happened to find one of the vehicles loaded with bhang.

 They immediately alerted the police in the area stationed at the nearby Ndeiya police station who then towed the vehicle to the Tigoni police station.

 No arrests were made as the occupants of the car, who are believed to be two, made a dramatic escape shortly after the minor crash.

 “The driver of the vehicle and his passenger immediately fled when residents arrived at the scene,” Ndeiya's former MCA, Nelson Munga, said.

 OCPD Zone Elaine Mola who was present during the incident refused to address the media on the grounds that she was not in her official uniform.

 A police source said the vehicle's registration numbers appeared to be falsified, adding that the issue would be raised with the National Transport and Security Authority (NTSA) law.
