Dp Ruto Breaks His Silence After Police Disrupt the Burial of Mahoo MCA Ronald Sagurani

Today police officers disrupted the burial ceremony of the late Mahoo MCA Ronald Sagurani in Taita Taveta county. Police officers brought down tents and equipments set in the burial site. Local residents who had gathered around were also dispersed by the police officers.

Speaking in the burial ceremony, deputy president William Ruto apologized for the mess done by uniformed officers. He said that it's unfortunate for police officers to be used for political purposes. He apologized to the family of the deceased MCA Ronald Sagurani.

The deputy president also eulogized the late MCA as a astute leader and a close friend to him. He recalled the joyful moments they shared together. He promised to stand with the family in this mourning time.

Various leaders attended the burial ceremony. The leaders eulogized the late MCA as a passionate and a reliable leader. Leaders present included Kikuyu MP Kimani Ichungwa, Kiambaa MP John Wanjiku, Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa, Taita Taveta women representative Naomi Shaban and former Taita Taveta governor John Mruttu.
