Uhuru Kenyatta during his address today on labour day has directed the bars to open until seven in the evening but encouraged the workers if possible to work from home with exception of the critical workers. This comes after he closed them on 12th,march 2021 during his 16th address on covid -19.
Now theclubs and bar owners are happy to be back to work considering the tough economic times brought about by the pandemic.
The employees in those bars also should be grateful to the directive considering that schools are just one week to opening and that they will have time to get a little fee as some are parents.
This comes a few days after the stakeholders in tourism and hospitality sectors requested thd President to review some restrictions rules to allow them work.
The president has also ordered the lift on cessation of movement in five counties who which where locked down. Also, the curfew to start at 10.00pm in the entire country.
