Tears Flow As 3 Family Members Who Were Burnt Inside Their House By Unknown People Are Burried

Three members of the same family who lost their lives in a fire toward the end of last month in Mumias, Kakamega County, were laid to rest today.

Eugene Omunyore, 23, his better half Miriam Echesa and their one-year-old child were in the house when their it was set on fire at Shikalame town in Mumias West Constituency on January 30.

The man and child passed on a day after the attack while receiving treatment at a local hospital while the lady lost her life seven days after the incident.

Detectives launched investigations to know the said person that poured petroleum around the house, chiefly on the entryway and the windows, prior to setting it ablaze.

The thick smoke and shouts by the deceased alarmed family members who were in the next houses of the compound.

Apollo Kalio, while mourning his child, expressed how pain calls made by Omunyore and his wife woke up the whole area who tried their best to put out the fire in vain.

Omonyore was praised as a harmony adoring man and one who thought often about the prosperity of his young family.
