Kilgoris residents woke up to saddening news after a 8 year-old girl died following a tussle between her parents on Monday evening.
According to reports privy to the heartwrenching account, it is reported that the incident took place at Majengo slums in Kilgoris whereby the said father accidentally hit the minor with a wooden object that was aimed at the mother.
The brawl came to an abrupt end immediately after the child went down hence forcing the two parents to rush the girl to Kilgoris Sub-County Hospital where the girl succumbed while undergoing treatment.

At the moment, the duo are reportedly cooling their heels behind bars at Kilgoris Police Station while the authorities tries to leave no stone unturned over the matter.
The Kilgoris account comes after a series of similar incidents whereby parents end up inflicting serious injuries to innocent children while fighting.
