Kenya Power is the largest supplier of power in Kenya. The large company which serves millions of people across the country has been in service for many years. During the last 10 years, many Kenyans have been connected with electricity in their homesteads hence any interruption during repair is set to affect many especially businesses.
Through their social media platforms, Kenya Power has announced that there will be long blackout hours on October 1st from 9:00 am till late 5:00 pm. This will be caused by normal maintenance services that will be carried out along these lines.
The second place is parts of Mau Narok county, which includes, Whole of Mau Narok areas, Fontana Mau, Charvi limited, Likia Center,Tipis, and adjacent areas.
Lastly, in Mombasa County areas that will be affected includesKPA staff Houses in mbaraki, liitle theater, and adjacent areas.
All these areas will be affected from 9 am to 5 pm. Residents are to prepare early with back up plans such as solar system or generators if they can afford.
