Police in Murang'a county have arrested a 19-year-old boy after he allegedly married and impregnated a 15-year-old girl.
According to the sources, the police were able to trace the duos with the help of their ground surveillance team.
Reportedly they found them locked in the boys' house forcing the police to break their way in.
The girl was taken to Makuyu hospital for a medical check-up whereby she tested positive for pregnancy.
The boy was taken to Kenol police station waiting to be arraigned in court probably facing defilement charges.
Netizens online couldn't hold their anger as they bashed the young man for taking advantage of the minor.
According to Kenyan law, citizens ranging from 17 years and below are normally regarded as minors. They shouldn't get involved in any s3xual activity either willingly or unwillingly with an adult (over 18 years).
