After a long period of sun and dust, the country has finally been blessed with rain. The rains are a sigh of relief for many especially farmers and pastoralosts.Yesterday major parts of the country experienced heavy down pour including the capital city, Nairobi county. One motorists experienced a hard time on Waiyaki Way when his car stalled and was unable to move due to the flooded road. Boda boda riders came to his rescue and started pushing the car. 
Nairobi county is famous for its poor drainage system. It seems the county government of Nairobi didn't expect rains any time soon as the drainage system in the county is mediocre and the roads are flooded. 
We hope the rains will somehow ease the high cost of living the country is experiencing. It seems God finally answered the president's prayer after he announced National prayers on 14, February, 2023.
