In a case of a party gone sour, police are in pursuit of a woman who allegedly stole at least ksh 180k, a fridge and 65 inch television after stupefying a reveller.

It is alleged the woman drugged the victim at Avery Lounge in Nairobi, something that has prompted the entertainment joint to ask for help in apprehending the woman.
According to Avery Lounge, the client registered a complaint with them after being robbed, which they followed up with the help of the police. However, the joint did not disclose any information of how the victim ended up welcoming the woman to his house.
Details of whether the duo were captured on CCTV footage at the club also remain unknown.
The incident comes at a time when cases of clients being spiked are becoming rampant. Kenyans are advised to never keep their drinks unattended to and to avoid heavy drinking lest they fall into the trap of such criminals. It is also important to watch over suspicious persons approaching your tables.
