On Friday midnight, a man was shot 36 times and killed in a puzzling attack in Mihango, Utawala, Nairobi.

Kevin Odhiambo was cornered by six gunmen aboard two vehicles along Gesora road.

The gunmen sprayed Odhiambo with bullets, killing him on the spot. The gang went ahead and bundled Odhiambo's girlfriend into one of their two cars and sped off with her.

The assailants later abandoned the woman in the nearby estate before she found her way back to Utawala. They further went and smashed a phone belonging to an eyewitness. The phone was found a few metres from the body of the deceased.
