Two More Members Of 'Mbogi La Izram Territory' Gang Arrested Planning To Commit Crime

Two more members of the "Mbogi la Izram Territory gang" have been arrested by DCI officers

The two are currently being detained by slueths from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).

The duo were nabbed in a heightened operation aimed at weeding out criminals in Kakamega and Western Kenya, according to a DCI post shared on Twitter on Sunday.

According to the sleuths, Omar Juma, 35, and Clinton Emonye, 21, were held on Saturday night in Kakamega as they were almost committing a crime.

''The pair who were armed with pangas, knives and axe took DCI officers to their mabati room at Kakoi corner next to Kabras market, where unknown number of electronic and household goods said to have been stolen were found.

The duo were placed into cells after their arrests and detained at the Kakamega Police Station pending their arraignment in court on their Monday.

According to the DCI, the ongoing security operations in Nyanza and Western Kenya seeks to end criminal activities that are terrorising members of the public.

This comes barely few days when three people were also arrested in within the same region.
