The puzzle surrounding the bodies that were recovered from River Yala is yet to be solved as families continue to storm in at the Yala sub-county mortuary to try to identify the bodies of their loved ones.
According to a report by a local daily, Abongo called Omino who lived in Yala, and told him that he wanted him to accompany him to Kisumu where he was supposed to attend to some business.
The two were never seen alive again, only for their bodies to be recovered floating on river Yala. According to one of their friends who knew Abongo well revealed that the young man was a Notorious Criminal who dealt in Stolen cars. He reportedly drove a black Toyota Crown and was well known for his generosity as far as splashing on expensive drinks is concerned. He was never arrested because he knew the right people at Kisumu Central Police station. It's still unclear who killed the two.
