Oscar Leonard Carl Pistorius is a South African former professional sprinter who was convicted of murder in 2015. Both of his feet were amputated when he was 11 months old due to a congenital defect.

The track star made headlines of a different kind in February 2013, after his girlfriend, South African model Reeva Steenkamp, was found dead at his home in Pretoria, South Africa. Subsequently got sentenced to 13years and 5months in jail in 2017 by the supreme court of appeal.

5. Bobby Shmurda

Ackquille Jean Pollard, known professionally as Bobby Shmurda, is an American rapper and songwriter. Cops said Shmurda was the ringleader of a criminal street gang called GS9. The other charges -- including conspiracy to commit murder -- were tossed. Bobby was initially sentenced to 6 to 7 years in prison, and he's been in December 2014.
