Monday 19th was a gruesome day for a family in Mwingi, after an unknown intruder stormed their house in the middle of the night without their parents or neighbors awareness.
According to Citizen Television, the incidence that occurred in Thitha, Mwingi county has since led to the demise of a two year old girl and the hospitalization her 17 year old sister after they were Assaulted and a can of pesticide left beside their bed.
As per Citizen Television, This is what the Form two girl told the police officers.
While the 2 year old was pronounced dead on arrival, A preliminary examination revealed that she the 17 year old was assaulted and had also ingested poison.
Nonetheless, Regina Kyambia the nurse in charge at Mwingi level 4 hospital has assured that the 17 year old is currently in the hospital undergoing treatment.
