"He Said He Will Miss Me, I Didn't Know It Was Last Time To See Him" Chiloba's Sister Recounts

Police in Uasin Gishu have started an investigation into the passing of LGBTQ activist and fashion model Edwin Chiloba. Along the Kipenyo-Kaptinga road near Kapsaret, the body of Chiloba was discovered hidden inside a metal box.

Following reports from local boda boda drivers that a suspicious-looking car had dumped a metallic box down the road, police were alerted to the body. When the cops cracked up the metal container, they discovered an already-decomposing body dressed in a woman's clothes.

He was sent to the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital (MTRH) where his body was preserved until the postmortem. His remains was positively identified by his family at the MTRH mortuary.

His sister Melvin Faith and other family members are there at the morgue where the body will undergo an autopsy. Melvin has described the last minutes she had with her brother. She claimed that they got together to celebrate the new year at Tamasha's house in Eldoret.

After the fireworks for the new year, she claimed that at one in the morning, he bid her farewell and said he would miss her.
