It was one of the sad evening at the famous Cheploch gorge in Baringo county. Reports indicate that one lady and a man were involved in an accident around the gorge.

The two who were on the picnic were enjoying the nice scene before a speeding motorcycle knocked them down the the deep gorge of Cheploch river.
The lady died after falling into the deep river with hard rocks but the man survived with injuries where he was rushed to hospital after being saved by Cheploch divers.

Reports from relevant source indicate that the two were students of Moi university and were on academic trip before heading to the area for a picnic. Incidences concerning accidents involving students have been on increase and thus students on picnics and other non academic activities should vigilant.
The recent being the ones who drowned in a river while taking a selfie on the river banks. May the departed soul rest in eternal peace and quick recovery to the injured man.
