A 50-year-old man is in police custody after he defiled his 10-year-old daughter while her mother was away running some errands. John Muema Ndilu took the innocence of the grade Three girl when the two were alone at home.
Confirming the incident, the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) said that the middle-aged man had told the minor to keep quiet lest he kills her in case she opens up to anyone about the deal. The incident happened on September 28.
However, the lass could not hold the secret anymore and decided to narrate the heinous act her father had done to her today, October 12. The two later went to the nearest police station where they reported the matter.
The police later went to the home where the suspect was and arrested him and will be arraigned in court once an investigation into the matter is over. The young girl was taken to the hospital where a medical report was obtained, which will be used to prosecute the suspect.
