Over the past few years, Kenyans have expressed their displeasure over rising insecurity in the country.
A decapitated body of a man who has been missing for last three days was today found dumped River Gucha, Kisii County.
Reports indicate that Geoffrey Omaiko went missing from his home in Bonyakenucha village, on Monday evening.
That was the last time he was seen until today when the body was found floating by the banks of the river.
The body of the deceased had visible injuries, with his hands tied tightly with a rope.
It is alleged that Omaiko could have been murdered elsewhere before his body was dumped was into the river. The body was retrieved by officers who had responded to a distress call from locals.
The body was taken to nearby mortuary, awaiting postmortem to determine the cause of his death.
Residents said that River Gucha has become a notorious spot for dumping bodies.
