Today it is bad news to all those who are practicing FGM as a chief's wife has been arrested in Kuria West, Migori county.
According to the source, the police have already arrested the chief's wife who was identified as Veronica Mahati Ghati.
The main reason as to why she has been arrested is because she has been accused of forcing her daughter to undergo the Female Genital Mutilation.
So if you are practicing FGM the bad news is that the government of Kenya will get you and you will be arrested.
