Reports of an ambulance belonging to Nanyuki teaching and referral hospital involving in a grisly accident emerged online leaving people in a panic mood.
According to the source, the accident occurred along the Nyeri-Nanyuki highway. An eyewitness revealed that the vehicle lost control for an unknown reason before it veered off the road into the ditch.
Good Samaritans rushed to rescue the victims, upon arrival the vehicle was having three occupants, the driver, one medical person, and a patient.
They were both rescued and taken to a nearby hospital. Further reports indicated that the patient was being transferred from Nanyuki hospital to an unknown hospital for further treatment.
