A foreign national is on the run from Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) detectives after he killed a 25 year-old woman at their luxury apartment. The woman is said to have been in a relationship with the suspect who is believed to be of European heritage and had rented the luxury apartment room based on the 5th floor.
According to The Standard digital news media platform, reports made at the Nyali Police Station indicate that a security guard at the apartments heard a commotion in the top floors moments before a person who was screaming fell at the bottom. On further scrutiny, he identified the body as that of the woman forcing him immediately to call for an ambulance which arrived later when the victim had already passed on.
Forensic detectives who visited the apartment area managed to process the scene before taking the body to Mombasa General Hospital Mortuary. Police have launched a manhunt for the suspect who vanished immediately after the incident happened.
