Boy died on the spot after head on collision with a lorry in Homa Bay

Early today at Nyakore point, Nyatike subcounty in Homa Bay county, a boy riding a motorbike died on the spot after a head on collision with a lorry.
According to witnesses, the boy was overtaking at a high speed without showing or using indicators and rammed in to an oncoming lorry which was also speeding.
The place of the scene could be witnessed from a far place because of the pool of blood that was on the floor.
The motorbike that the boy was using crashed and only motorbike bike parts could be seen scattering all over the place.
The boy died on the spot and the body was taken to the nearest morgue.
Police were called to the seen and are currently investigating the place.
Road accidents have rised and through it many people have lost their families and friends.
