Businesses were brought to a stand still in Makutano, Embu County after two young men, who are suspected to be behind the stealing of a cow, were attacked by a swarm of bees before surrendering themselves to the police.
In a statement that was posted by K24 TV on its Twitter page on Sunday morning, Lilian Waithera who is the owner of the cow, is reported to have sought some help from a witch doctor after she reported the matter to the police station in a bid to recover the stolen cow.
Some few days after the ritual was conducted, two young men emerged with the cow having been stung by bees.
"When my cow was stolen, I reported the matter to the police station but later I went to a witch doctor. He gave me medicine that I applied in the cowshed before and told me to wait. He has now helped me," said Waithera.
