The suspect behind this morning’s macabre killing of a 25-year-old woman has finally been arrested by DCI detectives.
It is alleged that Mayanja sent unidentified man to pick his properties from the apartment which he booked on September 30, when sleuths flushed him out.
Unbeknownst to the man who is a cab driver, the flying Squad detectives had blocked him from accessing the apartment.
He was swiftly arrested and after being interrogated for ten minutes, frogmarched to a waiting police vehicle that escaped where the killer suspect was hiding. The Nyali based detectives found out that the criminal who gain entry into the country on September 1 and the lady were not in love before her death.
The duo are reported to have met on Saturday at a renowned joint, where they enjoyed their drinks. Sunday’s meeting was the second. The duo retired on Sunday night at the rented room.
Before she was killed at 3am this morning, her half dressed lifeless body was spotted lying in a pool of blood by the apartment’s watchman.
