Passengers onboard bus headed to Mombasa met the rudest shock of their life on Friday morning after the bus they were travelling in caught fire at Thange, Makueni.
The public service vehicle owned by Buscar Company and codenamed Leroy Sane, registration number KCR 097 H met its untimely and unfortunate end after catching fire and burning into a shell. Fortunately, no passenger was injured in the melee that followed as people struggled to get out of the bus as heavy smoke billowed.
The cause of the fire is yet to be established though some people are speculating that it could have emerged from the vehicle’s charging system. Various people shared their views concerning what could have been done to bring the fierce fire under control. “I think buses should have like 4 extinguishers on boar and not the small ones…” Commented one of Facebook users on Kenya Bus World group.
Below are some of the beautiful pictures of Buscar (Leroy Sane) just before the scary incident occurred.
