Kenya has been hit by the worst drought in forty years. Atleast 13 counties have been severely affected by drought. Many people are suffering, livestock have died and school going children are unable to go to school due to lack of food.
Government is currently distributing relief food to drought affected counties. Government have also invited to participate in contribution of money to help kenyans who have been affected by famine.
It is now good news to kenyans as Kenya is among countries that will benefit from 25,000 tonnes of grain Sent to East Africa Community by Ukraine. According to the source, 60 ships will dock at port of mombasa soon. Relief food is famine donation and it will be distributed to those who have been affected by famine.
This is huge relief to kenyans especially those who have been affected by drought. Government is currently distributing assorted animal feeds to save livestock which are on verge of death due to drought.
