More than 200 bodies have been exhumed by DCIs at Shakahola Forest in Kilifi County but the process is still ongoing.

This recently occurred as religious cult leader MacKenzie was still being investigated for luring innocent Kenyans into fasting till death, which resulted in their deaths.
Detectives have reportedly rescued three people who were fasting and praying at Shakahola Forest this morning according to the most recent news post by Kenyans Co. Ke news page on the Facebook social media network. This recently took place as numerous Kenyan officials sought to raise awareness of and caution Kenyans against false religions.

Kenyans have expressed a variety of perspectives and ideas about that occurrence on social media, with some netizens advising detectives to leave them alone because they are not hearing what the government is saying.
