Two men arrested in a Kilimani church after two rival church groups fought over church leadership.

DCI Kenya have today unvailed a rather unusual incident that occurred in a Kilimani church yesterday where two rival groups fought over the church leadership. The Church located in Lavington turned into a battlefield yesterday after two clergymen went for each other's throats over the church leadership wrangles.

One group of over 60 congregants led by the incoming bishop forcefully gained access to the Church's office after allegedly breaking the glass door leading to the office in a bid to eject the current bishop whose term they claimed to have expired, the action turned into a huge fight because the current bishop wasn't willing to leave the office freely, the church guard was forced to call police officers who rushed to intervene. The police officers found two of the congregants who forcefully stormed the office in possession of guns and bullets and went ahead to arrest them. The police took full control of the church after that event.
