The Following Areas to Experience Rainfall in the Next Five Days

The Kenya Metreological department has forecasted the weather pattern for the period between 1st to 5th July 2021.

Weatherman through their twitter, has stated that Several parts of the country are expected to be dry. However, light to moderate rainfall is expected over few areas in the Highlands West of the Rift Valley, the Lake Victoria Basin, the South and Central Rift Valley and the Highlands East of the Rift Valley including Nairobi.

Counties of Siaya, Migori, Kiambu, Kakamega, Elgeyo-Marakwet, Bungoma, Baringo, Busia, Kakamega, Kericho, Kisumu, Homabay, Bomet, Kisii, Nyamira, Trans Nzoia are expected to have light rains in the morning, several parts will have heavy rainfall in the afternoon and showers of Rainfall in the evening.

Strong southerly to south-easterly winds with speeds exceeding 25 knots (12.9 m/s) are expected over some parts of the Coast, the Northwest, the South-eastern Lowlands and the Northeast.



Cool and cloudy conditions accompanied by light rains are expected over the Highlands East of the Rift Valley including Nairobi County as well as over some parts of the South-eastern Lowlands and the Highlands West of the Rift Valley
