The rise in cases of bodies found in dumped in rivers have raised questions over the security situation in the country. This has deepened the mystery over who’s reasonable for the killing and dumping of victims.

The body of a middle-aged woman was on Wednesday morning found dumped along the road in Sunton area, Kasarani, Nairobi.
It is alleged the body was discovered by passer-by who was heading to nearby market.
The body had deep cuts wounds in the head, marks all over her face and neck.
Preliminary investigations indicated that the victim, who has not been identified, was killed elsewhere and the body dumped at the scene.

Police who attended the scene said they were called and informed of the presence of the body before they went to pick it.
Police moved the body to local morgue as they launched investigations to establish who is behind the murder.
Residents urged the government to provide enough security in the area to help curb such incidents.
