Former director of personal at the police headquarters , Charlton Murithi is dead.
Murithi's demise has been confirmed by police headquarters in a comprehensive statement on Friday which will be issued later during the day.
It is revealed that Murithi died at 3Am on Friday while undergoing cancer treatment at Kenyatta National Hospital.Murithi was a Senior Assistant Inspector General of police , a rank below the Deputy inspector of police.

It is revealed that the leader has been battling with cancer disease for sometime and had been flown to South Africa for cancer therapy before he was flown back to Kenya and admitted to Kenyatta National Hospital.
Mourning the death of Murithi , the police named him as a dedicated , professional and best officer who will be missed by many.
"He meant well for the service in ensuring the best officers served where they deserve. We mourn him,” One Officer who was close to Murithi claimed.
