Through his official twitter account, Mwangi Kiunjuri mourned his nephew Gerald Kiunjuri Kariuki in an emotionally message where he eugolozed the 4th year student at the JKUAT as a young promising soul.
"It with a heavy heart that I announce the sudden death of my beloved nephew, Gerald Kiunjuri Kariuki. Gerald was a recent 4th year student at JKUAT. A young promising soul has been dimmed. May God rest his soul in peace." Tweeted Mwangi Kiunjuri.
However, what many didn't know is what really caused the nephew's death.
News circulating within Laikipia county insuniated that Kiunjuri's nephee Gerald allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself.
The news further revealed that Gerald supposedly committed suicide at their home on Sunday evening.
The Family members promptly informed the police after bumping into the dangling lifeless body.
His body was later to Nanyuki Teaching and Referral Hospital awaiting postmortem exercises
Kiunjuri's family and friends are meeting at Emess hotel Nanyuki, where burial preparation are taking place.
Gerald will be buried on Friday at their Kwa Huku farm in Nanyuki.
