A 45-year-old mason was electrocuted to death while working on a roof of a house in Kayole, Nairobi County.
A trusted facebook source on Wednesday evening confirmed this.
"Meanwhile, a mason was electrocuted while working on a roof of a house in Kayole, Nairobi." The post read out.
Police identified the deceased as Patrick Musyoki, 45.
Patrick was hired to repair a roof when he touched a live wire, killing him instantly.
"The victim identified as Patrick Musyoki had been hired to repair a roof when he touched a live wire killing him on the spot." The source added.
The body was transferred to the hospital mortuary.
In a separate story, two suspects have been lynched for allegedly kidnapping two school going children. 
The duo were cornered by members of the public who saw them escape with the juveniles on Wednesday evening.
Their bodies were also moved to the hospital mortuary awaiting postmortem.
Meanwhile, investigations are underway.
