RIP: Former Police Chief, Charlton Murithi Sucumbs Cancer Related Sickness

Sad news has been revealed by online sources, revealing that former police chief Charlton Murithi has passed away. Murithi, who functioned as the traffic commander, passed away on Friday morning while receiving treatment at the Kenyatta National Hospital.

According to sources, Murithi had been suffering from complications caused by his diabetes for a while, and the disease worsened before he passed away.

He was the director of Kenya's National Focus on Illicit Small Businesses and Light Weapons, which is operated by the government but is under the authority of the resident, until the time of his death. Murithi has repeatedly urged the youth to reject crime, especially in the slums, on radio programs.

Before his death, he had worked for the government in a variety of roles and positions. Among the other positions he has held in the past with the government include Director of the International Security Unit (IU), Commander of Traffic Operations, and other Directors in the Police Service.

He punched at three in the morning on Friday, August 19, according to a member of his family.

When Olivia arrived at the facility, she moved the body to the nearby funeral home.
