Dramatic Scene was witnessed from a commonly known Mavokho village, Kakamega county in the former Western province when a gentleman,22, identified as Moses Wafula was beaten to near death by residents for allegedly murdering brother infront of children for eating his Omena and Ugali.
According to the local or rather neighbour, the suspect, a quarry worker arrived at mother's home and found nothing to eat when her mother informed him that her elder brother had taken the meal.
Conferming the incident, the area police boss disclosed the suspect was arrested by police officer who immediately responded to a phone call from a village elder and was taken to Kakamega central police station waiting to be taken to court once the investigation is concluded. The body was taken to Kakamega level five hospital waiting to be buried.
