"The Child Was Not Defiled," Justice Chitembwe Blasted For Making Such Rulings During Interview

The search for the chief justice to be is underway. The judiciary committee has set to begin the interrogation of Maraga's successor with others thinking the deputy chief justice Philomena Mwilu should be handed a straight ticket .

The judiciary service commission has shortlisted the list of ten candidates who were shortlisted after their documents were scrutinised include President of the Court of Appeal William Ouko, Court of Appeal Judge Martha Koome, High Court Judge Said Chitembwe, and Employment and Labour Relations Judges Mathews Nduma Nderi and Njagi Marete. Others are Senior Counsel Philip Murgor, Fred Ngatia and Patricia Mbote together with Prof Wekesa Moni and Alice Yano.

In today's interrogation, it was justice Chutembwe's time. His judgement sparks concerns among Kenyans. He said when he write his judgement, he would not consider what the judge of appeal will say. He is ready to be criticised. His thoughts were received by mixed reactions among Kenyans.

" In the said case,the lady(child) said she went to the man's house and had sex with him and went home, she was not defiled," said Justice Chitembwe.

The strange judgement from the chief justice to be, created a heated debate on tweeter with some Kenyans conquering with him while others blasted his thoughts.
