CEC in charge of Finance and Economic Planning in Nakuru County Dr.Peter Ketyenya visited Teta Cooperative whose members had invited him to meet them in Keringet ward.The cooperative brings together dairy farmers keen on milk production.
He said as a county they have an assurance that they shall provide a milk cooler for 3000 litres and will liase with Kenya Power and Lighting Company to supply power to the cooperative.The milk cooler will provide jobs to jobless people around the area,also it will improve the living standards around the area.
He also visited Mwangati dispensary which was built to be a martenity center but not fully completed.He said they shall undertake to finalize the works.He was accompanied by chief officer of Agriculture Mr Maina,the sub county livestock officer Mr Busienei,Chief and assistant chief.The health facility will enable women in the area to deliver safely also many people will get jobs in the facility.
