The Lake Victoria tragedy where a boat carrying 19 people capsized has continued hitting newsrooms as search continues. The divers are still in progress trying to find all the people who sunk into the Lake waters when the boat capsized. As the search continues, the divers have continued finding more people as the search progresses.
Recent updates claim that the number of people who have died in the water has increased to 7. This comes recovering more bodies following the thorough search ongoing in the lake. However, it is said that 4 people are yet to be found in the waters despite the efforts put in to recover all the bodies.
Among those who survived the tragic incident was the coxwain who was in control of the boat. When the boar capsized, it was almost 400 metres from where it was supposed to land. The coxwain blamed bad weather and water hyacinth for what happened.
