A police report has revealed that one person died in the incident after he attempted to cross a flooded river.
According to the reports given by the police, it has been revealed that the deceased, a Boda-boda operator was trying to cross a renowned river before he was swept off by the river.
Narok police commander Kizito Mutoro, who spoke about the incident has called upon residents to make sure they stay vigilant, urging residents to stay away from rivers amid the ongoing rains.

While reacting to this incident, Kenyans who took to their different social media accounts to express their opinions on the matter have called upon the government to build better drainage systems.
According to the reports given by most Kenyans, they claimed that it is so unfortunate that the government is yet to do something about this even though more people keep on drowning in this incident.
