The head of the State made headlines yesterday after spilling beans about plans that were underway to abduct and kill Wafula Chebukati during the August polls. The commander-in-chief claimed that their motives were to tamper with the will of the people.
While submitting their report Kenya Kwanza regime led by Dr. William Ruto cited that Wafula Chebukati was targeted for abduction and murder.
However, political analyst and the University of Nairobi lecturer Herman Manyara has come out to criticize the sentiments made by Dr. William Ruto's close allies.
According to the article writer through his Twitter handle, He jokingly stated God protected Wafula Chebukati by blinding the Authorities against exterminating the commissioner.
These reactions come a day after the head of state hosted all commissions and independent bodies with the motive of assuring them of his intention of supporting them. Dr. Ruto acknowledged that Commissions and independent bodies are the backbones of attaining sovereignty and democracy.
