According to a story carried by Standard digital,a lady is in tears after two prison wardens at Thika GK prisons forcefully slept with her. The 21 year old woman who had come all the way from Kisii to visit her husband at his request became a victim of could not reach her husband via phone after reaching Thika. The standard reports that she had to wait at the visitors resting bay as the two wardens looked for her husband who worked at the facility.
After waiting for over 2 hours,the officers came back and told her that their effort to reach her husband had proved to be futile. As what she thought as a good gesture,one police officer offered her accommodation at one of the quarters as it was raining.

At around 11pm in the night,the two prison warden came back and one pinned her to the ground as the other assaulted her. She reveals that the police officers took turn on her and left her crying in the house. She had earlier been threatened with a gun not to scream.
In the morning she reached out to a female warden and narrated her story and she was taken to Sega Town for treatment but was later refered to Thika Hospital for treatment where it was determined that she was actually raped.
One of the prison warden has been arrested and effort to reach her husband has proved futile to this moment.
