The woman arrested has criminal offences in different sides which led to her residents suspecting her.
According to residents, she happened to be residing with a certain man in Kamalambu village.The villagers got suspicious about the lady and reported her to the authorities.
‘’the villagers’ fears were confirmed when during interrogation after being arrested, the woman told detectives that she had been in Somalia for two years after allegedly being kidnapped by members of the Alshabab terror network in Kilifi, in 2019’’ The police reported.
The report added that the woman confessed to have been trained on weapon handling skills, hostage taking and use of explosives among other skills.
She has attended different police recruitment forums including the recently advertised in Eldoret.
The investigations are still ongoing and the lady is expected to give more details on how she has been operating.
