A trending story of Njeri wa Uji has hit several media houses of how she managed to build her father a permanent house out of the business savings.
Njeri wa Uji is a popular porridge vendor who has melted the hearts of Kenyans after her sacrifices to ensure that her family leaves a better life.
She narrates that her life has not been a soft one. Things got different after the death of their mother while still young. Njeri began to sell tea in order to provide for the family and it is then the father became alcoholic. Njeri being the firstborn had to take the responsibility of taking care of the young ones and that's how she landed into business.
Njeri wa Uji said she could not bare seeing her father struggling in Kibera. She saved money from the business to build a family house in Muranga even before building hers.
During the house warming party, she said that she believes that more blessings will come their way. She has been an inspiration to other ladies and everyone else at large going through difficult moments
